5 TIPS FOR EASY PATTERN FOR HTVs

Patterns punch up every design. Get your top tips for working with sambhav creation HTV and make your next t-shirt unique.

TIP NO. 1- TEST CUT

Place sambhav easy pattern on your vinyl cutter along with the printed side facing you. It’s good to start a full design with a test cut. Settings totally vary on the age and wear of your blade cutter and other cutting accessories.

TIP NO.2-do not mirror your cut file

Most of the time HTV is cut with the carrier side on the down and blade cut through the adhesive on the back. An easy pattern comes with the pattern facing up. You can cut from the front face of the material.

TIP NO.3 MASK WITH TTD EASY

After the process of weeding you can apply an application tape on the top of an easy pattern by squeezing it. We recommend you to use TTD easily for best results. The application tape usually comes with the HTV when you will purchase from any Authorized distributor or reseller. Please keep this in mind that TTD easily might be placed inside the roll, so always check the cardboard roll tube before dumping it as it is totally empty.

TIP NO. 4 COMBINE EASY PATTERN WITH SOLID COLORS

Make sure an easy pattern is clearly visible on your shirt. You can use contrasting colored fabrics or heat transfer vinyl to make the pattern visible and POP. A SOLID HTV outline can make text legible.

TIP NO.5 KNOCKOUT METHOD OR TOP LAYER ONLY

You can use knockout methods to create the appearance of layering for best results. If you use it directly make sure easy patterns are the top layer. DO NOT APPLY on the top of the easy pattern.

Before the first wash, wait for 24 hours.
Machine wash maximum temp should be 40 degrees.
